We are Rachel and Ryan Cooper, licensed clinical social workers (LCSW) supporting individuals, couples and families for the past decade in both Utah and Maine. We bring a unique perspective of healing as a married couple who have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years combined offering evidence based therapeutic models for hope and healing. Rachel attended Brigham Young University majoring in Family Science and obtained her Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Southern Maine. She is trained and certified in Child and Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression and Suicide, Grief Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Ryan attended The University of Southern Maine, majoring in Social and Behavioral Sciences and The University of New England majoring in Social Work. Collectively we have worked in
supporting clients in the treatment of anxiety, depression, attachment issues, trauma, and complex trauma, infertility, grief and loss along with acute suicidal ideation and faith transitions. Clients have appreciated our compassion, support, openness, accountability and non-judgmental therapeutic approaches with healing. See below for insurances now accepted and other payment options for therapy sessions. Contact us with any specific questions.
In our free time, we enjoy cheering on the Utah Jazz, Boston Red Sox, gardening, time with family, cooking, word working and walking our dogs.
